The Ragpicker's Tower ( 2012)

The Ragpickers Tower is a totem made from a collection of Popular Mechanic Magazines that I have coveted over the years and which have informed my practice. Fluorescent markers have been placed where I have found imagery or stories of interest. When exhibited the piled publications emit a stale odour throughout the gallery. The Ragpickers Tower could be considered as art-based reasearch or indeed, research-based art.
